Sidefoot is a stats app for pickup football, currently in private testing. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Sidefoot is built and operated by VBO Advertising. If you have any question about your privacy or your data, email us at tim@vboadv.com.
What we collect
When you request early access through this site, we collect what you choose to enter:
- Your name and email address
- Your crew or team name (optional)
- What kind of phone you play on (optional)
- Anything you tell us about your games (optional)
If you are accepted into testing and use the app, we also store the information needed to run your league, such as player names, match results, and the email address you sign in with.
Why we collect it
- To review and respond to your early-access request
- To let you sign in to the app and use your league
- To produce the standings, stats, and records the app is built to show
How it is handled
Your early-access request is sent to our team by email. We use a small number of trusted service providers to make Sidefoot work, and your information is shared with them only for that purpose:
- Resend: delivers our emails (your request, and your sign-in codes)
- Supabase: securely stores the app's league data
- Vercel: hosts this website and the app's services
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We may use the minimal cookies our hosting needs to serve the site reliably.
Keeping it safe
Your information travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored with reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and to limit who can access it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email tim@vboadv.com and we will take care of it.
Children
Sidefoot is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
As Sidefoot grows beyond private testing, we may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
